・Northern Japan: Leaves will turn either around the usual time or later than normal.
・Eastern Japan: Foliage is expected around the usual time or somewhat later.
・Western Japan: Red leaves are likely to peak at the usual time or later, while yellow leaves should appear around the usual time.
- Northern Japan
- Temperatures are expected to be well above average in September, and remain higher than normal through October and November.
・Red leaves: The season will likely be around the usual time or somewhat later. Peak viewing is expected from early October to mid-November in the mountains, and from late October to late November in the lowlands.
・Yellow leaves: Also expected around the usual time or later. In the lowlands, the best viewing will be from early to late November.
- Eastern Japan
- Temperatures in September are forecast to be significantly higher than normal, continuing above average from October to November.
