Pokémon fans, get ready for a sensational time at Pikachu Outbreak 2019! During this fun event, hundreds of the famous, adorable creatures of the popular Pokémon franchise will appear in Yokohama’s Minato Mirai area.
This year's Pikachu Outbreak is on in Yokohama from August 8-12, and is sure to impress!
When and Where is Pikachu Outbreak 2019?

When: August 8-12, 2019
Where: Yokohama City's Minato Mirai district
Access: From Shibuya, take the Tokyu Toyoko Line to Minatomirai Station (34 minutes). Alternatively, from Tokyo Station, take the Keihin Tohoku line to Sakuragicho Station (~1 hour).
What's Happening in This Year's Pikachu Outbreak?
Several adorable attractions will be held this year! Every night, the fun-filled performances of Pikachu will be held with the romantic Minato Mirai evening scenery as a backdrop. And with over 2,000 Pikachu parading around the area - the most ever! - this year will be the biggest and most exciting yet!
1. Minato Mirai Town x Pikachu
With the picturesque Yokohama Museum of Art as a background, a gaggle of glittery Pikachu will be decked out in LED-lit costumes! Their adorable performance will be done in concert with a highly Instagrammable projection mapping experience.

Where: Grand Mall Park (in front of Yokohama Museum of Art)
2. Minato Mirai Sea x Pikachu
With the majestic Yokohama Bay Bridge and Yokohama Port as a backdrop, enjoy this fantastic performance woven by Pikachu and fountains of water that'll sore up high in the sky!
Date: August 6-12
Performance Times: 18:55, 19:50, 20:45
Where: Red Brick Park
3. Minato Mirai Forest x Pikachu
At this overwhelming performance, 50 Pikachu will be strutting their stuff around Yokohama's greenspace! You'll love seeing their cute wiggly bodies as they move to the beat.
