If you have lots of luggage, don't worry. Both the station and the park have coin lockers where you can store your bags and enjoy the park hands-free.
However, please note that some suitcases might not fit in the coin lockers. In such cases, ask the staff at the park entrances for luggage storage options. There are several places around Kawaguchiko Station that offer suitcase storage, so it's a good idea to check in advance.
