The Shinshu Buddhist Otani-ha Sect Namba Betsuin Temple’s (Minami Mido) temple hall was rebuilt into a remarkable new Osaka landmark, occupying the 5th-17th floors of the Osaka Excel Hotel Tokyu building, which was opened on November 1, 2019.

Liber Hotel at Universal Studios Japan opened on November 13, 2019, becoming the 8th Universal Studios Japan official hotel and targeting a female clientele. With 760 rooms, it boasts the largest scope of all USJ official hotels.

Opened on November 27, 2019, Hotel Hankyu Respire Osaka is located on the upper floors of Yodobashi Umeda Towers, with guest rooms on the 12th through 35th floors.

Oyado Nono Osaka Yodoyabashi is a traditional Japanese-style business hotel that opened in January 2022. Although located in Osaka’s business district, it’s incredibly convenient for sightseeing as it’s within walking distance to stations where many train lines stop. This includes Yodoyabashi Station and Kitahama Station on the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line and the Keihan Main Line.

On the top (13th) floor of the hotel is the large public bath, Hana-nami-no-yu. The spring waters are purely from a spring (limited to the indoor bath) that are said to have therapeutic qualities. Opening on July 22, Hotel Hull is located right on the Osaka Hokko Marina. Opened in June 2022, Mimaru Osaka Namba Station is a hotel offering an entertainment-filled stay through board games and other fun activities. Hotel Keihan Tenmabashi opened in April 2022. This hotel is superbly located a 1-minute walk away from Tenmabashi Station on the Keihan Electric Railway and Osaka Metro.
