For travelers visiting Yokohama in 2026, there is a new highlight beyond the iconic Red Brick Warehouse. Wonderia Yokohama, an immersive experience facility produced by DeNA, opened on March 19, 2026 within the BASEGATE Yokohama Kannai complex.

The facility is divided into six themed zones, each with its own natural setting and ecological story to explore.

One of the most striking highlights of the facility, this zone features one of Japan’s largest permanent LED immersive tunnels, measuring 5 meters wide and 4 meters high. Visitors experience the sensation of diving from above the ocean surface into a deep blue world, surrounded by swirling schools of sardines and glowing jellyfish in a fully immersive 360-degree environment.

While exploring the exhibits, downloading the official Wonderia app adds another layer to the experience. Using on-device AI technology, simply point your phone at the visuals on the walls to instantly identify different creatures and collect them in your personal digital card collection.

Each card includes exclusive Wonderia Tips with insights into ecosystems and species, turning the experience into both play and learning. By completing in-app missions, visitors can also earn useful coupons for the on-site café and shop.
