Anime, Games & Figures Galore: Explore Osaka's Otaroad - The Otaku Hub of Western Japan
- Written by: WESTPLAN
Always bustling with activity, Nippombashi Otaroad (日本橋オタロード) — known as “the Akihabara of the West” — is a popular destination for anime lovers visiting Osaka. The name “Otaroad” comes from the word “otaku” and refers to the many manga, game, and figure stores that line the street.
Located on the west side of the Denden Town area, Otaroad is a well-known hub for Kansai’s otaku culture.
