六角堂頂法寺

Description

Rokkaku-do Temple is said to have been built by Prince Shotoku. The main hall is hexagonal shaped, ”Rokkaku” meaning hexagon. It is also home to the “heso ishi” (navel stone) which is said to indicate the center of ancient Kyoto.
