The Graceful Character of Hotel Hanamizuki
Situated in the picturesque city of Kuwana, Mie Prefecture, Hotel Hanamizuki proudly holds the esteemed title of the official accommodation for Nagashima Resort. This distinguished resort encompasses a host of attractions, including the renowned Nagashima Spa Land amusement park and the captivating Nabana no Sato.
The hotel's exceptional staff and attentive waitstaff consistently deliver impeccable service, garnering widespread acclaim. Renowned for its high standards and esteemed reputation, Hotel Hanamizuki is often chosen as the venue for prestigious national events.
Adding to its allure, the hotel bears the enchanting name of "Hanamizuki," derived from the elegant Cornus florida flower.
During the onset of summer, Hanamizuki bursts into life, adorned with a captivating array of soft-hued blossoms. This mesmerizing flowering tree exudes a graceful and supple charm. The tradition of planting these trees dates back to 1979 within the amusement park, where they have since become symbolic fixtures.
Today, Nagashima Resort proudly boasts several hundred Hanamizuki trees, further enhancing its natural beauty.
Upon arriving at Nagashima, make your way to Hotel Hanamizuki to start your check-in process.
As a delightful perk of staying at Hotel Hanamizuki, guests are granted complimentary access to Nabana no Sato and Nagashima Spa Land for the entirety of their first night and the following day. Additionally, you have the freedom to enter Yuami no Shima, conveniently located adjacent to the hotel, as many times as you desire, all at no extra cost.
While the official check-in time is set at 2:00 p.m., early birds who wish to expedite the process can conveniently drop off their bags at the front desk. In return, they will receive a pass granting them access to the resort's other facilities. (Please note that the accommodation process can be initiated as early as 8:00 a.m. on the day of your stay, and designated parking is available for lodging guests.)
After completing the check-in process and settling into your accommodations, it's time to take full advantage of your lodging privileges and indulge in the blissful hot springs of Yuami no Shima. Unwind in the expansive natural open-air baths, relishing in their tranquil ambiance.
A mere 5-minute stroll along the connecting path will lead you to the neighboring Yuami no Shima, where the soothing hot springs await.
Enjoy the Seasons at Yuami no Shima
After presenting your pass at the reception of Yuami no Shima, you will be provided with a key to your personal locker. The dressing room is equipped with a selection of towels and amenities, ensuring your comfort and convenience. Simply stow away your garments and belongings in the locker, and you'll be all set to embark on your hot spring experience.
Nestled within a sprawling property spanning approximately 33,057 square meters, Yuami no Shima is a captivating hot spring facility that boasts an impressive array of bathing options. With a total of 17 distinct open-air and indoor baths catering to both men and women, guests are spoiled for choice.
The baths are segregated into two distinct areas: "Kurobe Kyokoku no Yu" and "Okuirise Keiryu no Yu," each designated for men and women, respectively.
The "Kurobe Kyokoku no Yu" features a collection of 8 baths, while the "Okuirise Keiryu no Yu" offers an additional 9 baths. Operating hours for both bath areas span from 10:00 a.m. to midnight, and from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. the following day, the baths alternate between male and female use, ensuring that lodging guests have the opportunity to relish in the rejuvenating waters of both sides.
In a bid to capture the essence of nature's splendor, "Kurobe Kyokoku no Yu" and "Okuirise Keiryu no Yu" meticulously incorporate authentic boulders and trees sourced from diverse gorges and streams across the country. This thoughtful approach faithfully replicates the natural beauty, immersing visitors in a serene environment reminiscent of scenic landscapes found throughout Japan.
Being able to walk around naked in a magnificent scenery like this is something you don’t get to experience often!
Nagashima Onsen boasts water temperatures around 60 degrees Celsius, with an impressive daily flow of approximately 10,000 tons. This alkaline hot spring offers a gentle and soothing bathing experience, leaving your skin feeling remarkably soft and supple.
Renowned for its rejuvenating properties, this hot spring is often referred to as the "Bath of Beautiful Skin." Its alkaline nature helps to exfoliate dead skin cells, leaving you with a radiant and smooth complexion. True to its name, emerging from the bath will undoubtedly bring a smile to your face, as your skin becomes irresistibly smooth and glowing.
Six Types of Bedrock Baths at “Yuami no Ganbanyoku”
Located on the second floor of Yuami no Shima, an enticing experience awaits you in the form of bedrock baths. We highly recommend guests of Hotel Hanamizuki to indulge in this rejuvenating activity, which comes at a modest price of 800 yen (tax included).
At "Yuami no Ganbanyoku," the bedrock baths feature infrared-emitting stones that directly warm your body, providing a unique and beneficial experience. Unlike traditional saunas, these low-temperature saunas gently increase your metabolism and promote comfortable sweating.
Upon entering, you'll encounter a full-body thermography device that captures and displays your temperature difference before and after the bedrock baths. It's a delightful and interactive feature that adds a touch of excitement to your experience!
Within the premises of "Yuami no Ganbanyoku," you'll discover six distinct bedrock bathing areas, each named "En," "Nen," "Ryoku," "Zen," "Un," and "Rei." These tranquil spaces offer a serene ambiance for you to unwind and experience the therapeutic benefits of the bedrock baths.
Additionally, four inviting relaxation rooms named "Sei," "Raku," "Ikoi," and "Hon" are available, providing cozy spaces for you to further enhance your relaxation journey.
The popular Finnish steam bath “löyly” can be experienced at “Nen.” The staff will pour aroma water and conducted loyly performance that matches the image and music. At "Zen” you can experience hot yoga and zen meditation in a space filled with special ores with high medicinal properties.
