Koto no Hako Kobe is a renewal of the Shin-Kobe Oriental Avenue. As part of the ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Kobe complex, it is directly connected to Shin-Kobe Station.
Based on the concept of “Destination & Experience,” the facility aims to be a collection of shops that are “only here” by focussing on experiences that can only be had on-site and “the consumption of things; not things.”

Kansai’s first 2.5D musical theater
Located on the 2nd floor of the West Building, “AiiA 2.5 Theater Kobe” that presents 2.5-dimensional musicals based on anime, manga, and games.
The first of its kind in Kansai, it brings with it the excitement of 2.5D musicals that are popular in Japan and abroad. The “AiiA 2.5 Theater Kobe CAFE” was opened along with the theater, and features collaborative menu items related to each of the theater’s screeneings.

A selection of souvenirs from Hyogo Prefecture!
Found on the 3rd floor of the West Building, “Hyogo Prefecture Souvenir Excavator” is an attractive shop started in cooperation with local governments throughout the prefecture to present the tradition, technology, and tastes of Hyogo Prefecture. Many of Hyogo’s most “non-failing” souvenirs are available here as well as sake, and sweets to educate tourists on the prefecture’s charms.

Kobe beef information at “Kobe Beef Hall“
The Kobe Beef Hall on the 3rd floor of the East Building is an experience-based facility where you can “know, see, and eat” Kobe beef, and learn about its history. Opened a little earlier than the rest of Koto no Hako Kobe in March 2019, the exhibition booth utilizes informative wall panels and videos to educate visitors before they enjoy Kobe beef prepared in the hall’s restaurants. The staff can also provide visitors with advice and help them choose a restaurant using the official Kobe Beef website.
