Since its founding in 1882, skilled craftsmen have been making elaborate walking sticks by focusing on high quality materials. We use high-grade imported woods including snakewood, cane , ebony, and red sandalwood, as well as Japanese woods, including oak, maple, and bamboo root. We carry new products, such as sticks with unique animal-motif handles, sticks that use light-weight carbonaceous materials; folding, portable sticks; and a wide variety of colorful sticks with openwork rings for women. We also deal in various kinds of umbrellas that are made by skilled Japanese craftsmen.
Because we are particular about both functionality and quality, we make each waking stick and umbrella by hand and with great care. We will be happy if you would like to pick them up.

Itoya, a historic stationery store that opened in 1904, changed its name to G.Itoya in June 2015 and was reborn as a store not only to buy things but to have various experiences. In addition to ready-made stationery items, G.Itoya sells a variety of products that can add spice to your everyday life such as original goods and goods for home and travel. Efforts are made so that customers can always enjoy their shopping, including holding various events from time to time.

In the building with twelve stories aboveground and one below, each floor has its own theme. On the third floor, you can try all 1,200 of the pens and pencils available. The seventh floor sells over 1,000 kinds of paper and you can receive advice from a paper concierge. Also, vegetables are grown using a hydroponic system on the eleventh floor and available for consumption at the café restaurant on the twelfth floor. It is located two minutes away on foot from the A13 Matsuya exit of Tokyo Metro Ginza Station.

K.Itoya opened under the new concept of Itoya in October, 2012. In keeping with its slogan, “A Hideout for Adults,” the store has a comfortable atmosphere in which you can take your time to choose products. K.Itoya is located close to the new main store, G.Itoya, and has a fountain-pen-shaped signboard. The building has six stories above ground and one below, each with its own theme and handling picture frames, fountain pens, painting materials, globes, printing, seals and so on.

The first floor has about 1,500 domestic and foreign writing materials, mainly fountain pens. The second floor is a typical ”hideout”: gold-lacquered fountain pens, imported fountain pens, limited-edition goods and music boxes are beautifully displayed as though you were in a small museum. The fifth floor has oil paintings, watercolors and gouaches by France's Sennelier. A two-minute walk from the A13 Matsuya Exit of Ginza Station on the Tokyo Metro.

“Ticket Sundry” accepts foreign money exchange at beneficial rates (such as U.S dollars, euros, pounds, Renminbi (Chinese Yuan), and Hong Kong dollars), and also Western Union money transfers, helping to make your stay in Japan that much more convenient. There is also a collection of traditional craftworks that Japan is proud to present. Each piece is a beautiful item of delicate handicraft Japanese artwork. They are all sold at reasonable prices, making them good souvenirs to remind you of your visit to Japan. They are located in the middle of the basement floor of Ginza Five which is directly connected to the C1 exit of Ginza subway station. Enter from the basement entrance, and you will find the shop located on the right after a 100 meter walk.

Gekkoso is an art supply store with a retro atmosphere located along the Hanatsubaki Street in Ginza 8-chome. It was established in 1917. A lot of foreign people come here, too. There are about 90 kinds of cute picture post cards with paintings and poems of modern artists in the basement floor. You write an address and your message on the card and then post it in Gekkoso in-store post. Afterward, the store will have it mailed. You can also use Gekkoso's original watercolor paints to write your post card. Why not send your message with your memory of Ginza from Gekkosho to someone special back home?
