This traditional autumn fireworks festival in Tokyo is one of the original and most beloved events of its kind. Around 10,000 fireworks will light up the night sky over the Arakawa Riverside in Kita Ward.

The old Iwabuchi Watergate (Red Gate), which once separated the Arakawa and Sumida Rivers, will be illuminated, creating a stunning backdrop for the fireworks.
For those who want the best viewing experience, head to the area around the new Iwabuchi Water Gate (Blue Gate).
