Description
This is a massive event with more than 1,300,000 visitors every year. The largest bamboo kanto poles can be up to 12m long and weigh 50 kg, while a single performer can hold one up using just the palm of their hand, or their forehead, shoulders, or even their waist. A highlight of this festival is how performer after performer amazingly balances the kanto pole using breath-taking techniques.
Date and time: August 3rd to 6th
Evening performances are between 19:25 and 20:35, but the timing of other events can change. Please contact the organizers directly for further details.
