Akita Museum of Art

Description

The museum was established to exhibit the collections of the late Masakichi Hirano. His collection features many works of his friend Tsuguharu Fujita. One of Fujita's pieces, a mural titled ”Seasonal Events in Akita” (3.65 m x 20.50 m) is a permanent exhibit and a highlight of this museum.
