Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine oversees 2,300 branch shrines throughout Japan. During the first three days of the year, the shrine welcomes approximately 2,300,000 people visiting to do their New Year’s shrine visit. Throughout the year, there are many people who visit to pray for various successes including peace and prosperity for the household and business success.
