Description

At Nishijin Textile Center, you can learn about the history of Nishijin textiles and the manufacturing process through historical materials. Guests can observe a kimono show put on by artisans themselves and try out the handweaving or cocoon crafting experience. You can also dress up a maiko or geisha, or try on a Junihitoe, a 12-layered ceremonial kimono.
