Description

This is a summer festival which is really representative of Japan and which boasts a 1100 year long historic tradition. A highlight is a festival float parade which includes 32 floats. These heavy 12 ton floats are controlled just by loud shouting as they pass through the streets of Gion City which has been decorated with one color just for the festival.
