We went early to Jojakkoji and were rewarded with beautiful scenery and most of the place to ourselves which is rare in Arashiyama/Saga area. The view is outstanding. Plan to spend time here just...Visited April 2023 -

Jojakkoji Temple was located after the bamboo trail. Entrance fee was required but there were full fall colors within the temple garden on the slope during autumn period. Nice to have a view there...Visited November 2019
