Jojakkoji Temple was located after the bamboo trail. Entrance fee was required but there were full fall colors within the temple garden on the slope during autumn period. Nice to have a view there...Visited November 2019 -

Be prepared for crowds in autumn, but it is definitely less packed compared to Tenryu-ji. We had fun exploring this temple and its surroundings, and admiring the beautiful fall colours.Visited November 2019
