Description
Nonomiya Shrine is an ancient shrine where imperial princesses chosen to serve at the Ise Grand Shine would spend three years purifying their minds and bodies. The shrine is also the setting for the Chapter of Sacred Tree in the Tale of Genji. It’s famous for its resident deity of matchmaking.
