Right now, Tokyo Disney Resorts is in the middle of celebrating the park’s 35th birthday with an event called “Happiest Celebration!” That includes an all-new night entertainment and special, time-limited shows. On top of that, Tokyo Disneyland will host the Disney Natsu Matsuri (“Summer Festival”), taking you to a traditional Japanese summer festival, Disney-style. Of course, there’ll be plenty of limited goods and food themed all around those fun events. Beat the heat with happiness at Tokyo Disney Resort’s fantastic events!

Splashy fun is an ever-popular summer pastime, so Tokyo Disneyland will have its own with the “Sansui! Summer Beat” event. Five large floats will gather in front of Cinderella’s Castle and on the parade route, featuring ten Disney characters. The “Tokyo Disney Resort 35th Anniversary – Happiest Celebration!” theme song is arranged with traditional Japanese instruments such as drums and flutes, bringing an authentically traditional vibe to the fun. To these tunes, the Disney characters will soak the visitors with refreshing water, making use of hoses to beat the summer heat. This large amount of water will make you feel like you’re standing under a waterfall, so be sure to wear clothes that dry quickly (such as a swimsuit or rash guard). Alternatively, enjoy the fun while staying dry by wearing a raincoat. Also, be aware of any devices such as phones and cameras – if you don’t stow them away in a waterproof way, they might get damaged.
