The name "Date" symbolizes the fame of the formidable general, representing the exceptional premium taste shared by Sendai's beef tongue.
For food enthusiasts visiting Tokyo who wish to savor such exquisite cuisine, there's no need to travel all the way to Sendai. You can find it in Ikebukuro! The Ikebukuro branch of "Date no Gyutan Honpo Miyagi Furusato Plaza" is just about a 2-minute walk from the East Exit of JR Ikebukuro Station.
