First up is a sports bar that prides itself on its gourmet burgers. They’re prepared with carefully chosen ingredients and the shop's logo is branded onto the buns, making the entire platter visually unique and perfect for a few snaps before you dig in. The meat that has is minced in two different ways, giving it a juicy texture like a good steak, and the best part? Free refills of fries!

Of course the bar also has a number of imported beers including two types of draft beer: Kirin Ichiban Shibori (600 yen, tax excluded) and Heineken (600 yen, tax excluded). 2. Lad's Garage Shibuya: Shibuya’s Best Kept Secret

As you might have guessed, the building was originally a garage, but was later renovated and converted into the bar it is now. Perfect for a pint with the lads. The space is huge, with a total of more than 150 seats spread out across the premises aboveground and underground. Its narrow-looking entrance belies the large space within. It's so spacious, in fact, that even at full seating capacity there is much elbow room to go around, and this is one of the bar's major selling points.

They also have a seriously impressive drinks menu, featuring more than 200 different drinks, including three kinds of draft beer that can be had from just half a pint (about 284 milliliters) per order for 440 yen excluding tax. Their selection includes a number of high-quality brews from Germany, Belgium, the United States, Mexico, and all over the world. There is English text beside the Japanese text in the menu, so foreign visitors can definitely feel at ease ordering drinks here!

Or you can book in advance for groups of up to 15 people.

Kitsune Shibuya’s unwavering popularity is in no small part due to its incredible selection of food, such as this elegant sushi, “Sushinu” that draws from French and modern cuisines. Ebisu Sports Bars

Ebisu Sports Bars

While your first priority may be to get to the stadiums to watch the action live, for those matches you don’t have tickets for, or when you just want to go somewhere nearby, we have one last perfect spot in Ebisu for you. Cheer on your favorite team and see how many people you can find rooting for your country too!

10. THE FooTNiK – Ebisu

10. THE FooTNiK – Ebisu

Incredibly close to Ebisu Station’s east exit is where you’ll find FooTNiK, a British pub in Tokyo that's absolutely devoted to soccer (or football, as would be correct in a British pub). One of its best characteristics is their marvelous 100 inch projector screen, just perfect for watching the match.

In 2017 this pub was certified by the UK’s National Federation of Fish Friers, meaning that you really need to try the fish and chips being served up at the FooTNiK, no matter where you’re from. Though a full portion at 1300 yen is truly filling, you can try a half-sized portion for 800 yen. They also have a full range of other British dishes including their English pie for 1300 yen or bangers and mash which costs 1300 yen.

They have a great range of drinks to wash down the meal, but their Punk IPA stands out amongst the crowd, being a fruity IPA using Scotland malt and New Zealand hops and can be served as just a half pint for 750 yen or a 2/3 pint for 950 yen. A pint of other drinks, such as Yebisu, start from 950 yen.

Well, we’ve found the best sports bars and pubs in the area, so what are you waiting for? Get yourself out on a pub crawl or find your favorite haunt for the trip – the game isn’t going to watch itself!
