Rinku Premium Outlets, the seaside area near Kansai International Airport, has gotten even more impressive! Along with sweeping views of Osaka Bay, as of August 2020, it now holds the title of West Japan’s biggest outlet district!
Rinku Premium Outlets: Loved by Overseas Visitors!
Rinku Premium Outlets is a 6-minute walk from ‘Rinku Town Station,’ just one train stop away from Kansai International Airport!
This convenience makes it easy to drop in while visiting the airport, allowing one final shopping fix before leaving Japan! Over 250 shops provide visitors with souvenirs, sweets, cosmetics, food, and, of course, the latest fashion!
Multilingual guidance screens are available (English, Chinese, Korean) and many of the stores have multilingual staff. If all else fails, a translating service via phone covering the entire center can be used at any time, so language will not be an issue!
Best of all, if you present your passport (non-Japanese) at the information desk, you’ll receive a free coupon sheet for discounts at many of the stores! And don’t stress if you’re lugging around suitcases; coin lockers and luggage services will keep your stuff safe while you shop!
Snow Peak Osaka Rinku Outlet - Glamping by the Seaside!
Just when we thought the Seaside Area couldn’t get any better, an additional 48 new shops and spaces have just opened up! This includes the ‘Seaside Park,’ a grassy waterside lawn perfect for unwinding after a busy day!
Before catching your flight the next day, spend one more night in Osaka ‘glamping!’ Overlooking the bay, you’ll stay in a cozy ‘Jyubako’ moveable model house designed by Japan’s premium outdoor brand ‘Snow Peak’ with famous architect Kengo Kuma. Snow Peak provides glampers with gear, such as mugs and lamps, so you don’t have to worry about packing!
The Jyubako truly puts the ‘glam’ in ‘glamping'! Furnished with air conditioning and sliding doors, it will keep you comfortable no matter what Osaka’s weather brings!
In addition to the standard plan, the ‘Eat Dinner Plan’ includes a luxurious dinner at Snow Peak’s pioneering Kansai restaurant, along with a toasted sandwich made in your room for breakfast.
If you like your food with views, the ‘BBQ Plan’ presents a delicious barbeque dinner by the seaside!
Everything you need is already prepared, including food, so feel free to turn up empty-handed! Of course, it’ll all be the latest Snow Peak gear!
This includes their state-of-the-art toasted sandwich maker for breakfast, providing glampers with a taste of genuine camping without sacrificing comfort. Toasted sandwiches are also available to order at the terrace alongside fantastic bayside views (sold separately).

RINKU DINING – Relish Your Meal with Panoramic Ocean Views!
Treat yourself to some delicious food and magnificent panoramas of Osaka Bay at the newly opened RINKU DINING. With distinctive architecture modeled after a boat, this dining hall is the Seaside Area’s newest landmark!
Make sure to get a seat next to the window – the view is fantastic! The glass is made from the latest smart tinting technology, allowing staff to adjust the sunlight to a comfortable level creating perfect views all throughout the day!
The ‘dashi’ soup stock specialists ‘Komeraku’
Inside RINKU DINING are the ‘dashi’ soup stock specialists ‘Komeraku,’ who boast 8 varieties of donburi all using their soft and fluffy Ohitsu-gohan rice. There is also a kid’s menu with 4 different selections.
After trying your donburi with ‘tare’ sauce, pour warm dashi soup into the rice to make the Japanese dish ‘ocha-zuke.’ This technique is popular amongst locals, and allows you to enjoy two different flavors in one meal!
The dashi soup is known to increase appetite and amplify existing flavors, making everything twice as delicious! You can also request bonito flakes, so feel free to ask the staff if you’d like another change of flavor!
If you’d like some sides, you can’t go wrong with the ‘choi-kara’ deep-fried chicken! Along with their classic salted edition, 5 other flavors are available for the adventurous! Of course, you can enjoy freshly-fried choi-kara on your donburi, or take it outside to enjoy with a beer! Your choice!
