If you are looking for some of the best nightlife experiences, then you don’t need to look further thank Tokyo. With hundreds of clubs to choose from, it’s easy to find a perfect spot to have fun after-hours. Tourists can enjoy from a wide selection of hip-hop, deep house, electronic, top 40, and more. All are easily accessible from the major hotspots in Tokyo such as Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Roppongi, so grab your friends and let’s get this party started!
Jumanji 55 Roppongi
Jumanji 55 is easily accessible from Roppongi station and is right off the main street. They are known to have some of the cheapest all you can drink deals in the nightlife scene, so you can have fun without worrying about breaking the bank. Just 1,000 yen will get you all you can drink from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and ladies can enjoy free drinks on Ladies Night every Monday.
The atmosphere here is friendly and you can usually find a good crowd during weekdays. Expect it to be a little packed on weekends as it’s a popular place for international visitors to hit up. Music depends on the event, but expect to hear a good selection of Top 40s.
Mist Roppongi
MIST, previously known as Green Land, has been renovated and is one of the few clubs in the Roppongi area where you can get your clubbing on as early as 7:00 p.m. Located only a few minutes from Roppongi station, this club is a popular place for international visitors and locals looking to have fun.
Since they are open until 8:00 a.m. in the morning, it is also a great place to head out to if you want to keep dancing the morning away. Get there from 7:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. and take full advantage of their All-You-Can-Drink service for only 1,000 yen!
They play a great selection of EDM, Top 40s, as well as hip-hop and reggae depending on the DJ. Entry fee starts at 1,000 yen with a drink ticket and the venue can accommodate up to 200 people comfortably.
Shibuya Womb
Beyond the famous Shibuya scramble and past Dogenzaka lies Womb Tokyo. Opening its doors in 2000, club Womb is considered one of the top clubs to visit when in Tokyo. The entrance fee is 3,500 yen on Fridays and Saturdays and 1,500 yen through Monday to Thursday. Womb offers four floors of entertainment that can hold a capacity of 1,000 people. The main floor offers a great sound system and caters to the TECHNO, HOUSE, DRUM&BASS and EDM.
You’ll find that the dress code is relaxed at Womb, however sandals and inappropriate clothing will not be allowed into the club. Outside food and drinks are not permitted, however drinks start at 500 yen and the club offers a few snacks such as: curry, chicken, and udon noodles. Events usually begin around 11:00 p.m. on weekends and Womb is only a 10 minute walk from the JR Shibuya station.

Sound Museum Vision
Club Vision, also known as Sound Museum Vision, is located right in the middle of Shibuya and is only a few minutes from the JR Shibuya station. They play a variety of techno, house, electronic, and hip-hop music spread out through 4 main floors, which have a capacity of 1,400. Their main room, GAIA, boasts a huge wall of speakers that surround the main DJ booth.
Events generally start at 10:00 p.m. and the cover charge starts at around 2,000 yen depending on the event. Club Vision will check IDs at the door, so make sure to bring a photo ID with you. Make sure to dress to impress and be ready for a great time!

One of Shibuya's hottest clubs: Club Asia
Only a five-minute walk from Shibuya station, Club Asia has played a huge role in Shibuya's nightlife since 1996. The stage is equipped with a 200 inch screen and a high ceiling to create a distinctive and amazing atmosphere. Besides the main floor, 2 DJ booths can provide different beats to cater to any crowd. Versatile live music events are also available in the evening, so make sure to check the events' schedule out on their website!
They spin all types of music, from Techno to EDM, house to Top 40s. Cover charge is around 2,000 yen, though it depends on the event type. ID check is required after 11:00 p.m.

Ginza's Genius Tokyo
Genius Tokyo is located right in the middle of Ginza and is mainly geared towards businessmen and women who are looking to relax after a tough week at work. Dress code here is slightly strict and guests with casual clothing will be turned away.
Genius Tokyo provides 3 floors to dance the night away to a mix of EDM, hip-hop, disco, and top 40s music. The top floor is the VIP section called CLUB GENIUS and is known to be extravagant. Genius Tokyo closes its door early at 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday through Thursday nights, and is open until 4:00 a.m. Friday and Saturday. Its door open at 8:00 p.m. and entrance fees start at 1,000 yen for ladies and 3,000 for gentlemen.
