Starting Friday, September 30, 2022, Shinagawa Prince Hotel will begin accepting reservations for the New Year Plan 2023, an accommodation plan that lets you ring in the New Year right from your hotel room! (Reservations open at noon on September 30).
Welcome the New Year with a safe, comfortable stay at one of these luxury hotels. Choose from a variety of plans, from longer 4 day/3 night vacations to plans more casual 2 day/1 night stays. All are designed to put a smile on the face of someone very important to you - yourself!
New Year's Day also brings with it a number of exciting events, from special live performances to magic shows. The hotel also has plenty of leisure and entertainment facilities, including bowling alleys and traditional New Year's games like 'Hanetsuki' (Japanese badminton). With so much to do, these hotels guarantee a fun New Year's stay for adults and kids alike!

2. The Prince Park Tower Tokyo

Wadaiko Japanese Drum Performance
HA-YA-TO is a Wadaiko (Japanese drum) unit composed of two brothers, and will be taking the stage once again in continuation of last year. You'll find yourself entranced by this passionate Japanese drum performance that combines the brothers' synchronized shouts with a touch of both delicacy and boldness.

Takanawa New Year's Eve Bell
The bell tower nestled in the Japanese garden was designated as a tangible cultural property by Minato Ward last year, together with the sanmon temple gate and Kannon-do temple hall. A limited 108 groups will be able to ring the New Year's Eve bell in what has become an annual tradition.

Flower Workshops
Flower arrangement workshops will also be held, where you can crafts designs such as oju (tiered New Year's bento boxes) and hagoita (battledores, or hanetsuki paddles).
