"This is a Shiseido brand product. It's reasonably priced and easy-to-carry, so it's really popular," says Muraki. It's paraben-free and uses natural hot spring water. You can even use it while wearing makeup!

Rheam Mask Spray is a soothing aroma that you can spray on the outer surface of your mask. There are 5 scents, including citrus and rose, all made with 100% natural ingredients.

"I recommend the Refresh. This is a high-quality series that is made in Japan with all-natural fragrances. The packaging is also cute, so they make good gifts," says Muraki. Its convenient size makes it easy to carry around and spray on the go.

Kitami Peppermint Oil Spray is a standard souvenir from Hokkaido. Spray it on your mask or handkerchief, and refresh yourself with the scent of mint!

"This has been a popular item for hay fever for several years. You can even add it to tea and liqueur, or use it outside. This one bottle has plenty of uses," Muraki explains. A few drops in the tub also make for a refreshing mint bath. It is also reasonably priced!

MoriLabo Pollen Barrier Seal is a product of Japan's popular deodorant and insect repellent brand, ST. Simply apply this patented sticker item to protect you from airborne pollen. It contains aromatic components extracted from the Todomatsu tree, known for its air-purifying effect.

"This is perfect for kids who don't like wearing masks. It protects against pollen, and is easy for them to stick on by themselves," says Muraki. Children will enjoy using these stickers! Effects last about 5 to 6 hours. They are made with thinned Hokkaido wood.

To protect your eyes from pollen, we recommend the Edge Style Protection pollen glasses. Its design is based on the average Japanese face and head shape. Its anti-fog lenses prevent fogging, even when worn with a mask.

"They're designed to look like ordinary glasses. They're easy to put on, and you can even wash them thoroughly in water - the screws don't rust!" says Muraki. These useful glasses block pollen and 99% of ultraviolet rays.

You can use the Etak Mask Inner Filter with your own mask. Its special three-layer structure cuts pollen, virus droplets, and PM2.5 particles by 99% - just stick it inside your mask! They are disposable and hygienic, made in Japan, and available at an affordable price.

The non-woven fabric is processed with patented ingredients that have antibacterial and antiviral effects. With an adhesive surface, you can quickly and easily attach it to the inside of your mask. It also acts as a barrier preventing lipstick and foundation from rubbing off on your favorite mask!

One of the best ways to prevent hay fever, is not bringing pollen into your home in the first place! Before stepping inside, use the Daily Clothes Brush S457 to thoroughly remove any dust and pollen from your clothes.

"The brush is a pig bristle mix, so it reaches deep into the fibers to scoop out pollen. The handle is plastic, and can be easily washed with water," says Muraki. You can find this item on the 3rd floor.

Elegard is an anti-static agent that you spray on your clothing. Preventing static electricity makes it difficult for pollen to cling to clothing. It's a great item that can also be used on car seats, curtains, and sofas!

"This item is popular from winter to spring, when static electricity is more likely to occur, but can also be used as a countermeasure against pollen. By spraying it on your clothes, you can prevent pollen from clinging to you and coming inside," says Muraki. You can find this item on the 3rd floor.

With covid still around, you may feel awkward sneezing in public places, even if it is just allergies. In this case, your strongest allies may be the Hay Fever Badges and Key Chains. These have recently become available this year, and are gaining popularity thanks to how easy they are to use.

The clip on the back of the Hay Fever Badge lets you attach it to your clothes or bag without having to pierce them. It's a great way to casually reassure those around you that you only have allergies!
