Traditional Yet Modern: Japanese Hospitality
The hotel chain Hoshino Resorts is known for its beautiful buildings that seem to blend into the scenery as well as an extraordinarily attentive service, owning both resorts and ryokan, traditional Japanese inns, all over Japan. On the 20th of July in 2016, Hoshino opened another location in the heart of Tokyo's Otemachi, just a short walk away from both Tokyo Station and the Imperial Palace. As the hotel is almost entirely laid out with tatami, guests take off their shoes upon entry, and the second basement floor as well as the floors from the 17th upwards are fashioned after the traditional design of a Japanese inn. Hoshinoya offers a total of 84 rooms as well as its own hot spring on the highest floor. Guests cannot only relax in indoor baths but also admire the beautiful nighttime sky in the hotel's own open-air onsen.
Check-in: from 3:00 p.m.
Check-out: until 12:00 p.m.
