Shibuya’s Womb offers a great variety of tunes and has a capacity of up to 1,000 people, all jamming to some of the best EDM, Drum n Bass, and Techno crowds. Club Vision (Sound Museum Vision) and Club Asia offer a more chill atmosphere with a healthy mix of techno, house, electronic, and top 40s tunes. Both places are a hit with those in their 20s and 30s, offering a great amount of events every week to keep the scene fresh no matter what time of year you visit.
Bars and Pubs in Shibuya
Now we’re talking! Shibuya has a great selection of bars, especially if you are into the Rock genre! Rock no Cocoro is located near the Center Gai area and is a popular local haunt for rock fans as well as rock stars. It’s known for its friendly, yet wild, environment where you can definitely feel at home. Below Rock no Cocoro, you can find the Music Bar Rockaholic. This bar leans a little more to hard rock and they take requests from all visitors, so head on in and get ready to rock out!
If rock isn’t your main thing, then you can head on over to Shibuya Oiran Warm-Up Bar. This bar is a chill place to get your night started out right. The atmosphere is relaxing and the music grooves into the night. It’s one of our high recommendations.
Jazz Bars in Shibuya
Looking to sit back and relax to some snazzy tunes with a drink in hand? Then Shibuya has a few Jazz bars that fit the bill. Located in Center Gai, Pres Jazz Bar is a great place to listen to the classics. This bar has a huge library of tunes, so feel free to make requests here. The Room is also located in the Shibuya area and is a mix of a dance club and jazz bar if you want to let loose and show off your moves.
Karaoke in Shibuya
If you are in the mood for singing, then there are several hot karaoke spots in the Shibuya area that are close to the station. Drop by Big Echo, which is located near the famous Shibuya 109 for a great night out with friends. It’s open until 5:00 a.m. in the morning, so it’s a perfect place to sing your heart out until the first train.
