Yudonosan Shrine

Description

Yudonosan Shrine is the inner sanctum of the three Dewa mountains. There is no main building; enshrined instead is a large red rock from which hot water gushes out. The Yudonosan Shrine is considered to be a place where people are reborn, being the final place of training in the Dewa Sanzan. Photography is prohibited, and you must remove your shoes before entering to pray.
