Oga Shinzan Folklore Museum

Description

The museum recreates the Namahage ritual held every New Year's Eve in the Oga Shinzan district at a thatch-roofed house near the Shinzan Shrine. The Namahage visits houses to drive away misfortune, bring in happiness and punish those being lazy.
