The Sakura, or cherry blossom, heralds the arrival of spring with its beauty and fragrance. Umeda Loft, a large household goods specialty store, has plenty of sakura-themed goodies, and is conveniently located only 5 minutes on foot from Hankyu Osaka Umeda Station.
Because of covid, many people have found it difficult to go out and enjoy. But you can still welcome spring with these sakura-themed cosmetics! The 2nd floor of Umeda Loft hosts a large collection of cherry blossom goods.
We spoke to Manami Muraki, head of sales promotion, about the top 10 recommended cherry blossom cosmetics for 2021.

4. Beauty Veil Makeup Keep Spray Sakura: Keep Makeup from Smudging Under Your Mask

It contains beautifying ingredients such as cherry blossom extract and water from hot springs. "It holds in moisture and prevents makeup from rubbing off on our mask," says Muraki. The cherry blossom scent will also cheer you up.
5. SQUSE ME Shake Nail Care Oil Sakura: Not Sticky and Easy to Use
SQUSE ME Shake Nail Care Oil Sakura has two layers of water- and oil-soluble moisturizing beauty ingredients. Be sure to shake it before using! "It's light and doesn't feel sticky. Your nails are moisturized before you know it!" says Muraki.
Get healthy, cherry-colored nails with this repairing, damage-healing nail serum. It has a seasonal, elegant cherry fragrance that you will love, too!

These cute bottles also make popular gifts! Many people gift them together with bath salts from the same series. They come in cute, spring-themed packages!
7. Fiancé Sakura Fragrance Series: A Sweet Fragrance Teens Love!
The Fiancé Sakura Fragrance Series is inspired by the sweet scent of fully-blossomed cherry trees. "Teens love the Fiancé brand for its cute packaging and affordable price," says Muraki.
The body mist and hand cream come in the same scent. Both are available in limited quantities and are very popular every year, so get it while you can!
8. Kneipp Sakura Gift Set: A Sakura Gift with a Message
This Sakura Scent series is from Germany's long-established herbal brand Kneipp. It contains wild cherry blossom extract and has a sweet, gentle cherry blossom scent. The Kneipp Sakura Gift Set includes bath salts and hand cream, and comes in a clear case with a cherry blossom design.
On the packaging is a sentimental spring message: "Now and forever". It is a popular Japanese gift in the springtime, the season of meetings and farewells.
9. OHANA MAHAALO Anuhea La'aulu Series: You'll Want to Collect Them All!
The OHANA MAHAALO Anuhea La'aulu Series is a delectable scent of cherry blossoms with freesia and white lily. The name of each item is in Hawaiian. "Anuhea La'aulu" means "the gentle scent of spring."

10. BOTANIST Botanical Spring Hair Balm: Great for Your Hands, Too!
The early spring tends to be a little dry, so you don't want to overlook your hair care! BOTANIST Botanical Spring Hair Balm is an oily balm that coats the hair. This product is great not only for the wet hair look, but also for intensive hair repair.
Many repeat customers look forward to Botanist's limited-edition spring items every year. This year's fragrance is a refreshing sakura and bergamot scent. If you have any left over, you can even use it as a hand cream!
