1. Hotel Monterey Osaka: A Graceful Atmosphere

Hotel Montery Osaka is one of the popular, classy hotels near Osaka Station. It stands out among its fellow tall buildings with its European appearance. Its interior is fashioned after Austrian palace culture, giving it a dreamlike air. There’s a chapel on the 8th floor that replicates a Belgian church and is used for weddings. This all sounds like it would be very expensive, but the price is surprisingly low.

There are three different types of rooms, all styled after 19th century Viennese bedrooms. Pictured above is the Vienna Traditional economy twin bedroom. The traditional, classic interior holds much charm.

Breakfast is a buffet of western and Japanese foods, priced at 2,400 yen with tax. Treat yourself to a luxurious morning with over 50 items on the menu, free for you to choose. Dinner is available at both the French and Japanese restaurants in the building.
The hotel is connected to the JR Osaka Station and Osaka Metro’s West Umeda Station by an underground passage (unavailable from midnight to 6AM), so you can get to the train without getting soaked by rain.

2. Hokke Club Osaka: Trusted Business Hotel Near Osaka Station

When looking for low-priced hotels near Osaka Station, you want a business hotel. Nowadays their presence is expected, but there was one chain said to pioneer the business hotel model: Hotel Hokke Club.
Basing their concept on providing memorable hotel service, they’ve been in the business for about a hundred years. A hotel near Osaka Station with pedigree.

Hotel Hokke Club Osaka has three special points of note. First is the way they make their beds. They use the Duvet style, where they wrap the blankets in sheets to provide a more comfortable sleeping experience.

The second is the communal bath for guests. It employs the near-natural waters of Koumeiseki Onsen, making it feel just like a hot spring, working well on stiff shoulders and pained hips.

The third is its breakfast, the most important meal of the day. Aside from local classics such as kushikatsu and takoyaki, they also have Japanese food, treats, and plenty of fruit all available in a buffet style.

The rooms have a variety of custom-developed amenities, and the top floor has a women-only lounge with aromas and a café, making it perfect for travelling women.

Another advantage is that there’s no rush with this hotel near Osaka Station. Check-in starts at 2PM, and check-out is at 12 noon, allowing you to take your time.

4. Daiwa Roynet Hotel: Highly rated by reviewers

The area around Yodoyabashi and Kitahama, a business district that still has nostalgic buildings, is a bit of a laid-back place slightly removed from bustling Umeda. In this area, popular with Osaka regulars, is Daiwa Roynet Hotel. In the corner of its chic reception room are plenty of shields. As one of the hotels near Osaka Station it's highly rated by plenty of travel sites, not the least of which being the Michelin Guide.

The hotel’s high hospitality has won it much favor with critics. Take the Ladies’ Room for example, with its layout designed by women, or the Hollywood Twin Room with an extra bed for three people. The price is kept within a reasonable range, but it has plenty of services that guests will appreciate.

Breakfast is a buffet within the hotel.

5.. APA Villa Hotel Yodoyabashi: A spacious stay

Here’s another hotel near Osaka Station from the Yodoyabashi area. APA Hotels and Resorts is a major Japanese hotel chain, and this is one of their establishments: APA Villa Hotel Yodoyabashi. This particular hotel is tilted closer to being a resort rather than a business hotel, boasting a communal bath and relaxation salon (separate charges). The rooms themselves are on the larger side, such as the Hollywood twin room pictured below. The 16 square meter rooms have two beds stuck together, perfect for sleeping in with a family of three.

What stands out the most is the communal bath and sauna on the basement floor. They aren’t often crowded, being only available to guests, allowing you to really take the load off. They’re free, of course, and make use of artificial hot spring water. The male baths also have outdoor sections.

Breakfast is a buffet combination of Japanese and western food, and the bread is freshly baked at the café & bakery on the first floor. The rice and coffee use carefully picked ingredients as well, making mornings in this hotel something to look forward to.
