Much more vibrant to see in the evening rather than the day time because the evening lights of the stores and decorations makes it more interesting. The river was nice, especially to see boats go by...Visited September 2026 -

We went to Dotonbori during lunchtime. It wasn't too busy (it was raining as well). Just the running man area is really crowded. We did a boats tour that was included in the Osaka Amazing PassVisited March 2026 -

This area is full on at night! Bright, loud & crowded. There is lots to see and eat and it can be a tad overwhelming. Take your time as you wander through the area. I also encourage you to revisit...Visited September 2026
