Kohaku an Machiya House

Located in the centre of Kyoto city, guests at Machiya Residence Kohaku-an can experience staying in a traditional Japanese-style townhouse. The 180-year old building comes with free Wi-Fi and has a kitchen, a living room area and 2 bedrooms. Tofukuji Station is a 5-minute walk and Chisaku-in Temple is a 10-minute walk away.

The air-conditioned Machiya townhouse comes with a living room with a tatami (woven-straw) seating area, a flat-screen TV and a laptop. A washing machine and an en suite bathroom is included, while the kitchen comes with a fridge, a microwave and stove. Guests can sit out by the traditional garden and sleep in Western bed or in Japanese futon bedding on tatami floors.

Kohaku-an Machiya Residence Inn is a 20-minute public bus ride from Kiyomizu Temple, and a 10-minute walk from Sanjusangendo Temple. JR Kyoto Train Station is a 10-minute train ride away.
