Description
The town of Kurama's patron god is worshipped at this shrine. Yuki-Jinja Shrine is located on the path to Kurama-dera Temple and is extremely famous for its Kurama Fire Festival, held each October 22nd in the evening. The front shrine that sits at the top of a stone stairwell has been designated as an important cultural property of Japan.
