Description
The Ryozen Museum of History focuses on the end of the Bakufu and the Meiji Restoration, the first of its kind. The museum houses over 5000 articles from Ryoma Sakamoto and the Shinsengumi, with roughly 100 pieces on permanent display. These include “Yamatonogami Minamoto no Hidekuni,” the beloved sword of Hijikata Toshizo, “Ashuu Kikkawa Rokurou Minamoto no Sukeyoshi,” a sword used by Isami Kondo, and the sword used to kill Ryoma Sakamoto. This museum is a must-visit for sword fans.
