There is a constant stream of visitors seeking to offer prayers and exorcisms. Jonangu Shrine’s gardens are known to have appeared in “The Tale of Genji” and you can enjoy beautiful flowers regardless of the season. Early spring offers camellias, weeping plum blossoms, weeping cherry blossoms, wisteria, azalea, and maple leaves, and you can enjoy red foliage in autumn as well.
