Description
Bishamon-do Temple is a Tendai sect Buddhist temple where Bishamon is worshipped. It is a monzeki temple, a temple with strong ties to the imperial household. The main hall is constructed with Karamon and Deva gates in the same way Nikko Tosho-gu Shrine was built. It is home to many treasures including various articles connected to the imperial household such as Fusuma paintings.
