Michael Jnice spot but a bit underwhelming
Visited in March and the garden is calm, nothing crazy though.Temple itself is kinda plain not much to see inside. If you like quiet places to walk sure, but expected a bit more from the photos.Visited March 2026 -

This is a very traditional Buddhist temple with marvellous views. There are two types of tickets: temple & gardens (JPY 800), or gardens only (JPY 500). I'll advise to take the garden ticket only...Visited January 2026 -
