Hunter Spirit, Ignite! A Real-Life Well-Done Steak BBQ Recreates the Iconic Monster Hunter Sound Effects!

Anyone who has played Monster Hunter knows the meat-grilling scene all too well! From July 14 to September 30, 2026, guests staying in the collaboration-themed rooms can enjoy a limited-time Well-Done Steak BBQ during dinner.
The hotel serves up a massive bone-in cut of meat, letting hunters experience the thrill of grilling it themselves. The best part? The moment your meat is ready, hotel staff will perform that legendary sound effect live: “So tasty!” Under a beautiful starry sky, you can dig into a giant piece of meat with friends or family while hearing the iconic tune, making this a full-senses immersive experience that is sure to awaken your inner hunter.
Two Epic Themed Rooms: Will You Stay in the Gathering Hall or the Hunter’s Lodge?
These special collaboration rooms were personally supervised by Monster Hunter series producer Ryozo Tsujimoto and CAPCOM, and they are packed with details fans won’t want to miss!
1. Gathering Hall Cocoon

The ultimate base camp for a 4-hunter squad, this room perfectly recreates the familiar Gathering Hall and can accommodate up to four guests.
Inside, hunters are welcomed by Monster Hunter Wilds-themed decorations and the game’s cover monster, Arkveld. But the real surprise is the exclusive Nijigen no Mori gaming area! Each player gets their own 24.5-inch monitor, a premium Secretlab collaboration gaming chair, a PlayStation®5 Pro, and a copy of Monster Hunter Wilds.
Spend the day exploring Awaji Island, then return to your room at night to hunt online with friends. It’s basically the luxury Gathering Hall of every hunter’s dreams!
2. Hunter’s Lodge Cocoon

Designed for two guests, the cozy Hunter’s Lodge is filled with adorable Palico details throughout the room!
You’ll also find incredibly realistic in-game props like Small Barrel Bombs, Wyvern Eggs, and Iron Hammers, making it perfect for photos and full-on immersion. It’s the kind of room that lets you step right into the life of a hunter.
Exclusive Hunter Loot! Deluxe Bonus Items You Can Only Get Here

What’s a Monster Hunter stay without some real-world loot? Guests staying in the collaboration rooms can take on a special room-exclusive quest to search for hidden items inside their accommodation. On top of that, each room comes with beautifully designed exclusive goods, with items provided based on room type and number of guests:
・Hunter gear-style waist pouch
・Hunter’s Notes-style key case
・Palico gear-style hooded loungewear
And honestly, slipping into the Palico loungewear and relaxing in your room might be one of the most healing parts of the whole experience!
Recharge With Premium Awaji Island Cuisine and Your Own Hinoki Cypress Bath

The Monster Hunter details are amazing, but the hotel itself is just as impressive. Meals are supervised by Haruyuki Yamashita, one of Japan’s leading chefs, and feature premium local Awaji Island ingredients, including rare Awaji beef and sweet island-grown onions.
After a full day of intense “hunting,” every guest room also comes with its own private hinoki cypress bath. Soak in the fresh, calming scent of natural wood, relax completely, and recover your HP in true luxury!

A little teaser for fans: In 2027, Awaji Island is also expected to welcome Monster Hunter Bridge, the immersive experience that was a huge hit at the Osaka Expo. Monster Hunter fans definitely have something to look forward to!
