The Tanukikoji 5-Chome Store is located in the long Tanukikoji Shopping Street that stretches between Odori Park in the east, and Susukino in the west. There are two SATUDORA stores on 5-Chome, but the Tanukikoji 5-Chome Store is right in the middle, facing the south side. It's the biggest drugstore in the Tanukikoji area, and it's also one of seven SATUDORA locations in Hokkaido that cater specifically to tourists.

Another great thing about this store location is that it's only about a four-minute walk from both Susukino Station on the Namboku Line, and the Tanukikoji stop on the Hokkaido City tram. If you can visit the shopping street via the underground shopping mall, you can arrive safe and warm even on rainy or snowy days. To add even more convenience, almost directly across from the store is a currency exchange center.

The entire shop is just on one floor with plenty of space between the aisles, making it easy to shop even if you're toting luggage or shopping with a cart.

Within the store, aisle categories are displayed in Japanese, English, simplified and traditional Chinese, and Korean. Signage with product descriptions is also available in multiple languages. Additionally, many store staff can speak English or Chinese, allowing for a comfortable shopping experience.

Another feature of the Tanukikoji 5-Chome Store is its generous selection of alcohol. Aside from regular beer and canned highballs, premium sake from Dassai is also available.

The store also offers popular Japanese whiskeys at various prices, such as Suntory whiskey, which comes in square bottles.

Across from the liquor section is the snack shelf, where you'll find the best-selling snacks like scallops, and mixed small fish and nuts. These snacks don't just make for good souvenirs, but they're also great to enjoy with some drinks back at your hotel!

Bath bombs with toys of Japanese characters inside can be enjoyed as souvenirs or for yourself. You can enjoy a relaxing scented bath with the excitement of the toys being revealed.
