Description

Architect Kingo Tatsuno, known for designing Tokyo Station's red brick building, also designed this bank, which was complete in 1912. Since 2003, the facility has served as a museum, explaining the Bank of Japan's history and work, and the mechanics of finance. You can also experience the weight of 100 million yen in imitation banknotes.
