Description
Leaving the mountaintop station to the right, you'll find an observation deck with a panoramic view of Lake Toya and Showa-Shinzan. Another observation deck, seven minutes away on foot, brings you near the original site of the mountain's eruption.
A 20-minute trip from Toya Station on the Donan Bus for Lake Toya Hot Spring, then a 16-minute trip from the last stop on Donan Bus for Mount Showa-Shinzan, near the last stop (closed in winter)
