Hoshino Resorts Tomamu, a residential complex resort located in the mountains of central Hokkaido, is equipped with facilities that are operated by Hoshino Resorts, a highly popular hotel and resort chain in Japan. Hoshino Resorts Tomamu has one of Hokkaido’s biggest slopes!
Surrounded by majestic nature, Hoshino Resorts Tomamu has two areas, "Tomamu Mountain" and "Tower Mountain," with 29 courses available ranging from beginner to advanced. Tomamu Ski Resort is an incredible pleasure to fully enjoy the longest run of 4,200 m in this colossal ski resort covering a total area of over 1000 ha.
Apart from the beginner course, there is an area open to the pros in a special way. Before beginning their run in this forested area, guests must receive a brief lecture and then don a helmet and armband. But the reward is incredible: enjoying the mountain in its natural pristine state.
With lessons available for beginners, these slopes offer plenty of courses that can be enjoy anywhere from beginner to advanced with the best powdered snow around. In addition to group lessons and private lessons, there are a variety of lessons available for women plus enjoyable programs for children too.
The Tower: The convenient and user-friendly center at Hotel Hoshino Resorts Tomamu
The tower rising in the center of the site is the landmark of Hoshino Resorts Tomamu. It is close to the Tomamu Ski Resort, outdoor center and restaurant street and it is popular as a convenient hotel.
Choose from various room styles suitable for all needs such as couples or groups, as well as families with children. It is safe to lie down and let your babies roam as footwear is banned in the popular "Asakurakudo Room."

Easy access to Tomamu Ski Resort and other attractions
Hoshino Resorts Tomamu is easy to access from all over and this accessibility is said to be the secret of its popularity. It is surrounded by the three major airports in Hokkaido, and it is a 5-10-minute trip from the shuttle bus that departs from Tomamu Station on the JR Shishi Line.
You can extend your trip into to Sapporo, Furano, Obihiro, and Asahikawa which are popular tourist spots near Tomamu.
