Shrines and temples are at the heart of exploring Japanese history and culture, but in and around Tokyo there are so many that it can be hard to know where to start. The Keisei × Keikyu 16 Shrines & Temples Goshuin Tour offers a clear theme and route, guiding you through lesser-known spiritual spots across Tokyo and Yokohama while you collect goshuin (red seal stamps) along the way.
By connecting areas served by Keisei Electric Railway and Keikyu Corporation, this collaborative campaign turns your temple and shrine visits into a meaningful pilgrimage that combines good fortune, views, and rail travel into one experience.
When It Runs: December 1, 2025 to March 1, 2026
This special campaign runs for about three months, from December 1, 2025 to March 1, 2026. It is an perfect time to visit historic shrines and temples in the clear air of Japan’s winter and early spring.
What Makes a Goshuin Tour Special? Hidden Power Spots in Tokyo and Kanagawa
A goshuin is a highly valued “proof of connection” with the deities or Buddhas, granted to worshippers at temples and shrines in Japan. The date of your visit and the name of the temple or shrine are brushed in ink and accompanied by a vermilion seal. Far from being a simple stamp, each goshuin carries artistic beauty and historical weight.
This goshuin tour is a chance to experience the depth of Japanese culture and faith by visiting lesser-known historic temples and shrines along the Keisei and Keikyu lines that ordinary tourists rarely visit.
16 Sacred Sites to Visit! History and Scenery along the Keisei and Keikyu Lines
In this stamp rally, a total of 16 temples and shrines are included:
・8 sites along the Keisei line
By receiving goshuin at each location, you also collect digital stamps.
The Keisei side is known for sites that express “tradition and the atmosphere of an ancient city,” such as Naritasan Shinshoji Temple in Narita and other historic shrines and temples closer to central Tokyo.
The Keikyu side stretches from Shinagawa through Yokohama and down the Miura Peninsula, and features many temples and shrines with “scenic views that blend the sea and the city.”
Through this tour, travelers can experience contrasting landscapes and histories on the eastern and southern shores of Tokyo Bay in a single journey.
Travel Memories You Can Keep: Limited Original Goods
Special original goods are prepared according to how many stamps you collect, so you can turn your pilgrimage into a tangible memory.
Keisei Prize: Drawstring Bag (first 1,000 people):

Awarded to participants who collect all 8 stamps from temples and shrines along the Keisei line.
Keikyu Prize: Goshuin Book Band (first 1,000 people)

Complete Conquest Prize: Train-Shaped Pouch (lottery, 300 winners)

During the stamp rally period, both companies will also sell a campaign-only, original goshuin book with a special design (2,300 yen, limited to 2,000 books). Starting your journey with this book will make the experience feel even more special.
Easy to Join: Explore Tokyo Smartly with a Digital Stamp Rally
This campaign is run as a digital stamp rally, rather than using a dedicated app or paper stamp sheet. This makes it easy for international visitors to participate and complete both stamp collection and prize applications with just a smartphone.
Simple Steps to Join! Just Tour with Your Goshuin Book
1. Register for the stamp rally. Issue the “Keisei × Keikyu 16 Shrines & Temples Goshuin Tour” stamp rally from the newcal website (membership registration on newcal is required).
2. Visit the temples and shrines. Bring your own goshuin book (no specific type required) and visit participating temples and shrines along the Keisei and Keikyu lines.

4. Exchange or apply for prizes. Collect all stamps in the Keisei area or Keikyu area to exchange for first-come, first-served prizes (drawstring bag or goshuin book band) at designated locations.
Collect all 16 stamps to become eligible to apply for the lottery prize (train-shaped pouch).
Limited Edition Goshuin Book: A Reliable Travel Companion
To make the tour feel even more special, an original-design goshuin book (2,300 yen, limited to 2,000 copies) will be sold during the campaign. It will be available at major shops operated by both companies, such as GIFT KEISEI inside Keisei Ueno Station and the Keikyu goods shop “Otodoke Keikyu.” It is a perfect companion for your goshuin journey.
