On the 20th of July in 2016, Hoshino opened another location in the heart of Tokyo's Otemachi, just a short walk away from both Tokyo Station and the Imperial Palace. As the hotel is almost entirely laid out with tatami, guests take off their shoes upon entry, and the second basement floor as well as the floors from the 17th upwards are fashioned after the traditional design of a Japanese inn. Hoshinoya offers a total of 84 rooms as well as its own hot spring on the highest floor. Guests cannot only relax in indoor baths but also admire the beautiful nighttime sky in the hotel's own open-air onsen.

Tokyu Stay is an excellent business hotel that caters to a wide range of needs, providing washing machines, dryers, and mini-kitchens in select rooms, making it a perfect place for both short visits as well as long-time stays. The chain operates seventeen hotels all around Tokyo and the newest addition to the family is Tokyu Stay Hotel Ginza, which opened in March 2016. With a three-minute walk away from Ginza Station, it is in an excellent location, offering five different types of rooms, such as superior twin and residential double. All of the rooms are equipped with a microwave, and the superior twin is the only room type that does not have aforementioned washing and drying machines. The residential double also has its own mini-kitchen and on the second floor, a banquet room called The Stay Gold Ginza can be found, serving a mixed Japanese and Western-style breakfast buffet for 1,500 yen.
