Haneda Airport Garden, a complex directly connected to Haneda Airport’s Terminal 3, opened on January 31, 2023. Sumitomo Realty & Development, Hotel Villa Fontaine Premier and Grand, Japan's largest airport hotel, debuted within Haneda Airport Garden. Our Live Japan editorial team visited to experience the facilities first-hand.
In this article, we'll explore the differences and distinguishing features of the two hotel brands, Hotel Villa Fontaine Premier Haneda Airport and Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand Haneda Airport, as well as the unique amenities and services available at Haneda Airport. We'll also highlight the hotel's conveniences and attractions!
About Hotel Villa Fontaine Haneda Airport
Hotel Villa Fontaine is a hotel chain under the ownership of Sumitomo Realty & Development, with 21 hotels situated within Tokyo, Osaka, and Kobe's 23 wards (as of March 2023). It was christened Villa Fontaine to offer a calming and rejuvenating escape in Japan's bustling cities.
The latest addition to the hotel chain is the airport hotel, which directly links to Haneda Airport. The hotel features two brands: the deluxe Hotel Villa Fontaine Premier Haneda Airport and the top-notch Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand Haneda Airport. Both hotels are situated within the Haneda Airport Garden complex, connected to Terminal 3 via a passageway. Additionally, the hotel boasts a staggering 1,717 guest rooms, making it Japan's most extensive airport hotel.
What’s the difference between Premier and Grand?
Premier is for those seeking a luxurious and hospitable stay in an airport hotel. Grand offers a comfortable stay with an emphasis on convenience and functionality, recommended as a base for business and sightseeing.
To reach both the Premier and Grand hotels, guests can access their entrances via the fourth-floor lobby. While airport hotels usually prioritize convenience and proximity to the airport, Villa Fontaine Haneda Airport goes beyond that and aims to create a cozy and unforgettable stay for travelers. As a stopover for passengers, the hotel features a minimalist Japanese interior design, attentive service, and a Japanese ambiance, which both hotels share.
