10:00 - Arrive at Yokohama Station – Let's check out Chinatown and get some tasty snacks!

Yokohama Chinatown is synonymous with the city and there are plenty of great places to eat as you stroll though, so be sure to bring your appetite!

From JR Yokohama Station, take the Yokohama Municipal Subway Blue Line to Sakuragicho Station. If you're arriving via Shinkansen, you can take the Blue Line from Shin-Yokohama Station. At Sakuragicho, transfer to the Akai Kutsu bus and head for the "Chukagai (Chinatown)" bus stop. With the Minato Burari Ticket Wide, you can get to Chinatown directly from Shin-Yokohama.

Yokohama Chinatown is Japan's largest Chinatown with a vast array of authentic Chinese restaurants serving foods like butaman pork buns, Peking duck, and grilled dumplings. Many can be ordered for take-out to eat while walking.

You can buy products at the Shigoroku Saikan Souvenir Museum at a 5% discount by presenting your Minato Burari Ticket. Five percent off shark fin buns, homemade char siu, and dim sum sets? What suits your fancy?

Bonus: If you want to see a different cityscape, go to Yamate Seiyo-kan

If you have time, check out Yamate Seiyo-kan. Take the Akai Kutsu bus to "Harbor View Park" and walk toward the Foreigners' Cemetary to reach the lush Yamate area.

The site of a Western neighborhood involved in the opening of the Port of Yokohama, Yamate Seiyo-kan retains the atmosphere of days gone by.

You can visit seven Western-style buildings like the "Home of a Diplomat," "Berrick Hall," and "Yamate 234th Bankan" for free.

There are cafes and restaurants nearby, and your Minato Burari Ticket will get you free sweets with the order of a meal at the Enokitei pastry shop. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy a different atmosphere, Yamate Seiyo-kan is worth checking out!

After eating in Chinatown, take the Akai-Kutsu to Yamashita Park. After a roughly 15-minute ride, you'll come to the park, with Yokohama Port spreading out before your eyes. The park is about 700 meters long and stretches from Osanbashi to Yamashita Pier with an open feel provided by its waterfront location.

If you're there in spring or fall, a leisurely stroll along the coast will be beautifully augmented by the park's blooming roses.

Yamashita Park is also the mooring point for the NYK Hikawamaru, a freighter built in 1930 for use on the Seattle Route. An important national cultural property, it's the only pre-war cargo-passenger ship remaining in Japan, and interior tours from the wheelhouse to the guest rooms are available. The Minato Burari Ticket reduces the admission fee from 300 yen to 250 yen.

After you're done at Yamashita Park, head to one of Yokohama's most famous tourist attractions: the Red Brick Warehouse. The Akai Kutsu trip from Yamashita Park to the Warehouse takes about 12 minutes.

Built in 1911, the Red Brick Warehouse has stood for over 100 years, despite being severely damaged by the Great Kanto Earthquake. Its Building 1 and Building 2 are now home to shops and restaurants.

At the Red Brick Warehouse, your "Souvenir Ticket" can be exchanged for one select item!

The Yokohama Landmark Tower also houses shopping areas, hotels, and offices. If you want to shop, this is the place to go, with a wide range of stores selling products from brand-name shops to casual clothing and miscellaneous goods.

If you need a break, Mangia Mangia on the 5th floor is a great choice. Presenting your Minato Burari Ticket will get you a cup of iced tea, iced coffee, or hot coffee. You can also opt for a glass of wine at dinner. Relax while watching a beautiful sunset bathe the clouds and waves in color.
