Narita Airport Shopping: 'Fa-So-La SHOPS' - Largest number of shops, widest variety of all stores in Narita Airport!
'Fa-So-La-SHOPS' has over 80 stores throughout Narita Airport. They have a wide assortment of cosmetics, sake, tobacco, boutique brands, Japanese confections, and folk art products.

When speaking of Sanrio characters that represent Japan, everyone thinks: HELLO KITTY! It is such a famous character with fans all over the world. Then mix in Tokyo's staple sweet company, Tokyo Banana. The collaboration of the two comes together to create the HELLO KITTY APPLE CAKE.
Enjoy the juicy apple jam and custard cream inside a sponge cake with a plump and fluffy texture. The most popular is the box of 8 (1,100 yen / tax-free). But keep in mind this exclusive product is only offered at the Narita and Haneda Airports for those on international flights!

2. LeTAO "Double Fromage": Hokkaido's famous confectionery!
When ranking sweets by their popularity and stock, the "Double Fromage" (1,800 yen / tax-free) of the Otaru Western-style confectionery shop LeTAO is always at the top.
It is a two-layered cheesecake that is smooth and thick that melts like snow in your mouth. This unique sweet is specially prepared with LeTAO's fresh cream made from Hokkaido's milk and cheeses from around the world like cream cheese and mascarpone that is a popular choice with many fans not only in Japan but those overseas as well.
While there are those who think it difficult to choice a souvenir because of the need for refrigeration, as the product is in a duty-free shop in the airport, it is sold in a special chilled box so that it can last for 11 hours. This way, those with an 8-hour flight can bring this home without worry.
"When I went to Hokkaido for snowboarding, I tried it for the first time and it was delicious. I didn't think that I could bring this home, but if I have 11 hours, I could bring this home to Australia!" (Australian / 20s / man)

3. Tokyo Milk Cheese Factory’s "20 cookies assortment": One taste and you’ll be hooked!
Check out Tokyo’s hottest brand ‘Tokyo Milk Cheese Factory.’ The milk and quality cheese used to create these select cookies are ‘Unbelievable!’ and are now popular not only in Japan but overseas as well in places like Hong Kong, the Philippines, Korea, Taiwan and more.
The most popular assortment appears to be the ‘Salt & Camembert cookies’ and ‘Honey & Gorgonzola cookies’ mix that offers ten cookies in each flavor. Cookies are a perfect souvenir as their shelf life is long and they do not expire at room temperature. The original wrapping paper that features a cow makes for a cute gift choice.
"This cookie! I received it from a Japanese friend and it was so good. Then when I went to Japan the first thing I did was call to ask where I could buy this cookie (laughs). Really delicious!" (Filipino / 20s / male)

4. Glico "Pocky PREMIÈRE CLASSE" Chocolat & Matcha: Airport exclusive, luxurious taste!
This is the top class Glico "Pocky PREMIÈRE CLASSE" available exclusively at the Narita International Airport. This combination of thick chocolate and crispy cocoa biscuits using whole milk powder from Hokkaido has such a taste that it changed the very concept of Pocky.
It is the perfect souvenir as this is limited to the airport limited and has the green tea and chocolate flavors which are popular among foreign tourists. The chocolate has a strong aroma of cocoa from Ecuador. The green tea has the elegant aroma of Kyoto tea and the natural astringency, so it is recommended for those who like green tea.
Because there is only one store in the area after the security check, some Japanese people going overseas will buy this thinking "I will eat this in Japan after returning home."
"I can only buy green tea souvenirs in Japan. There are chocolates that are famous in Russia, but Japanese chocolate may be better. This Pocky is definitely something I would like to buy the next time I visit." (Russian / 30s / woman)
"Green tea flavored sweets are bought by all Chinese visitors because they are famous and delicious. This has been a big deal for me because I had never eaten it before!" (Chinese / 20s / man)
5. ISHIYA GINZA "Saqu 18 piece assortment": Inheriting the DNA of "Shiroi Koibito"
Founded in 1947, everyone knows the famous Hokkaido confectionary store ISHIYA with its "Shiroi Koibito." The Lang de Chat is a similar product of the brand ISHIYA GINZA outside Hokkaido.
"Saqu LANGUE DE CHAT" is the signature product here. It is a sweet made by sandwiching chocolates of various flavors. The ingredients come from Hokkaido as much as possible, with an exquisite balance of crispy texture and chocolate this is a product of the technology of ISHIYA.
The recommended product is the "Saqu assortment 18 pieces" (1,800 yen / tax-free), where you can enjoy six kinds of caramel, Hokkaido cheese, Hokkaido wine, Gianduja, Himilk, and green tea milk all at once. The package is also beautiful and suitable as a gift.
