Rooms Inspired by Luxury Cruise Ships

Now, let's take a look at some of the stunning guest rooms at Hotel Keihan Universal Tower.
The overall concept of the rooms is 'COZY,' designed to provide a sense of comfort and relaxation. In the rooms, you can take off your shoes and truly unwind. The hotel's overall theme is inspired by the 'world of a luxury cruise ship floating on the sea.' With a total of 641 rooms spread across the 5th to 30th floors, the design evolves as you move from the lower to the upper floors — starting from the ocean floor, transitioning through the undersea world, to the sea surface, and finally to the cruise ship itself.
Guest Rooms Inspired by the Ocean Floor

The Bank Bed Superior Room on the 5th floor is designed to evoke the feeling of being underwater, making it particularly popular among families. The room features a unique bunk bed structure, designed to resemble the rocky seabed, with rounded corners for safety. This thoughtful design ensures that children are safe in the room.

The bed features numerous bubble-like holes, and beneath the colorful stairs, there's a large playful hole that adds to the fun atmosphere. The entire room feels like a secret base, making it an exciting space for children.
The bunk bed design makes great use of the room's space, ensuring there's plenty of room for the whole family to relax and enjoy their stay.
Guest Rooms Inspired by the Undersea World

As you move to the higher floors, the theme shifts from the ocean floor to the 'undersea' world! Some rooms are designed to evoke sunlight filtering through the water and colorful coral, creating a charming atmosphere. These rooms are especially popular.
Guest Rooms Inspired by the Ocean Surface

As you move to the upper floors, the theme transitions from undersea to the ocean's surface. Here, the design is inspired by the moonlight reflecting off the ocean at night, with a luxurious cruise ship floating on the water. The Low Bed Superior Four room, featuring a raised platform with low beds, is a popular choice for family vacations and group trips.
Guest Rooms Inspired by the Interior of a Luxury Cruise Ship

The high floors, from the 25th floor and above, are called 'Tower Premium' rooms, offering a luxurious space that feels just like being inside a luxury cruise ship. One of the highlights of these rooms is the incredible view.

In the Tower Premium Superior Room, you'll find a spacious 37-square-meter area furnished with high-quality furniture. The marine-themed lamps inside add a special touch, enhancing the room's atmosphere.

In the Tower Premium Junior Suite on the top 30th floor, you can even enjoy the stunning night view from the bath! Tower Premium rooms are equipped with hairdryers from the popular brand Refa, as well as high-performance showerheads. Many guests appreciate these thoughtful amenities, allowing them to stay on top of their beauty routine even while traveling.

Each room also features a shoe dryer, making it easy to quickly dry your shoes if they get wet during your day at the park. Plus, every room comes with a freezer and refrigerator, so you can enjoy a refreshing cold drink, adding to the overall comfort of your stay.
Natural Hot Spring with Breathtaking Views – The Ultimate Relaxation Experience!

On the 31st floor of the hotel, you'll find the natural hot spring 'S-PARK,' where you can enjoy traditional Japanese onsen culture while taking in panoramic views. The natural hot spring water, sourced from 1,000 meters underground, gently warms your body and leads you into a deep state of relaxation.

You can relax and fully enjoy the onsen experience by soaking in the spacious baths, and the view from the large windows is absolutely stunning. It's also worth visiting at different times of day to enjoy the sunset or the night view! After a long day of fun at the park, a luxurious moment of relaxation is the perfect way to soothe your tired body.

The natural hot spring is 100% sourced from the spring (with no added water or heating), allowing you to enjoy the pure, untouched waters straight from the earth. After soaking, your skin feels soft and smooth, earning it the nickname 'beauty bath.'
The spacious bath area also features a 'jet bath and vibra bath' with bubbling water, as well as a dry sauna and mist sauna for extra relaxation.

The changing rooms are well-equipped with amenities, especially for women, who will find cotton pads, cotton swabs, shower caps, cleansing products, toner, and lotion. Additionally, ReFa hairdryers are available.
In the men's changing room, you'll find hair tonic and shaving gel, along with high-performance Dyson hairdryers for added convenience.

Before entering the Sky Spa, each guest receives a face mask and a skincare set from the popular Japanese cosmetics brand Kose, featuring their 'Sekkisei' series (including cleansing oil, facial cleanser, toner, and lotion). One set is provided per person.

In the 'Relaxation Space' within the spa, guests can enjoy complimentary soft drinks, as well as a free service offering either one ice cream or a beer. After your bath, you can unwind and refresh while taking in the beautiful view of Osaka city—a perfect way to relax.
S-PARK Natural Hot Spring:
Adults (middle school age and up): 2,000 yen
Children (3 years and up): 1,000 yen
Hours: 4 PM – 1 AM (last entry at 12:30 AM) / Morning: 5 AM – 9:30 AM (last entry at 9 AM)
You can enjoy the onsen as many times as you'd like within operating hours. Please note, an additional bath tax of 150 yen per adult is required.
Enjoy Dinner and a Stunning View from a Height of 120 Meters

On the top 32nd floor of the hotel, the Top of Universal restaurant offers a dinner buffet while you enjoy the stunning night views.

The interior of the restaurant is designed with an elegant concept, inspired by a Zeppelin airship, often referred to as the 'Sky Titanic.' The 7-meter-high windows on both the east and west sides of the restaurant create a sense of openness, offering panoramic views of the nightscapes of Osaka and Kobe from 120 meters above ground.

As the sun sets and night falls, the city lights begin to sparkle. If you bring your camera lens close to the window, you can capture the beautiful night view with minimal reflection.

The dinner buffet features a wide variety of dishes, including Japanese, Western, and Chinese cuisine, all crafted with care by the chefs. There are many seasonal menu items made with fresh ingredients, and every visit offers a new culinary experience.

On the day of my visit, the 'Winter Warm Dish Fair' was being held. There was an array of winter dishes, including 'Tomato Cream Fettuccine with Snow Crab' and 'Beef Braised in Red Wine,' along with more than 10 different desserts! It was truly a luxurious dinner experience.

At the live kitchen, you can enjoy freshly cooked 'Japanese Beef Roast Beef' with Osaka steak sauce, and 'Chami Pork Roast with Chaliapin Sauce,' served hot off the grill.
The dinner buffet is limited to two hours, so there's no need to rush. The key to enjoying buffet dishes at their best is to eat hot foods while they're still warm!

The Japanese Beef Roast Beef, in particular, is known for its tender, juicy texture. As soon as you take a bite, the rich flavors of the meat spread in your mouth, and with every bite, you'll enjoy even more of its delicious depth. Eating it straight off the grill makes it even more tender and indulgent.
Top of Universal:
Prices: Adults (middle school age and up) 6,300 yen, Children (elementary school) 3,150 yen, and Toddlers (ages 4 and up) 1,850 yen.
Hours: 5:30 PM – 9:30 PM (last seating at 9 PM) with a 2-hour time limit.
